Dear X,
When someone applies to Ofsted for registration, they must demonstrate their premises are suitable to use as a children’s home, and they must resolve any issues to ensure they are able to operate their service as planned. This means they need to have the appropriate planning permission. In addition, if a property has a restrictive covenant on, they will have to be able to demonstrate to us that the covenant does not prevent them from operating their service as they plan to.

Council Outsourced Private Homes making £42,000 obscene profit per child per annum are now claiming they are not Business. Up to 8 employees are onsite at one time jostling for parking at shift change.
The outsourcing of vulnerable children at huge cost is seen in Council Tax Bills.
For the avoidance of doubt at OFSTED - Authority Planning has no Jurisdiction over Private Property Restrictions. NONE - so why do Ofsted rely on Certificate of Lawful Use and collapse all Public Trust in doing so?
The same Ofsted Stonewalling and whitewash in Policy is seen at the Local Authority Planning Team and LGO- They work together in a tag team process to engineer dismissal and undermining of notified and proven Covenant restrictions (no business use).
Ofsted :
No policy seemingly exists when notified of Covenant legal dispute - they still register and make Lawful.
They engineer a Council Planning loop process.
They register tenant (short lease) Care Homes and Terrace Care Homes.

If you don’t have such paperwork, get in touch with the local planning authority as soon as possible and keep chasing for a reply if you don’t hear back soon. We are not able to do this for you, and we can only accept documents that are directly from the planning authority.
